On June 3rd, 2025, Auditor General Ceesay led a delegation from the National Audit Office (NAO) on a courtesy visit to H.E. Liu Jin, Chinese Ambassador to The Gambia. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation at the institutional level, particularly between the NAO and the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of China.
Ambassador Jin commended the work of the NAO in promoting good governance and pledged continued support. He highlighted opportunities for collaboration, including NAO’s participation in Chinese-hosted exchange programmes and multinational engagements. Both parties agreed to explore future cooperation in public sector auditing.
