AG Ceesay, accompanied by the Deputy Auditor General (Admin) and the Director of Research, Parliamentary Liaison & International Affairs, attended the AFROSAI-E 20th Governing Board Meeting and 2024 Strategic Review hosted by OAG Uganda in Kampala, from May 6-9, 2024.

This annual event is an avenue for strategic discussions between Auditor Generals and senior officials of Supreme Audit Institutions in English-speaking African countries, with donor partners, exploring new partnerships and ways to enhance the work of the SAIs in delivering on their mandates.

This theme for this year’s event is ‘Vision 2029‘ and discussions during the sessions focused on digitalization and enhancing audit impact through stakeholder engagements. At the sideline of the event, AG Ceesay and his team held some bilateral meetings with donors and other sister SAIs on institutional capacity-building opportunities for the NAO.
