AG Ceesay Pays a Courtesy Call on U.S. Ambassador
Auditor General Ceesay recently led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the U.S. Ambassador, Sharon Cromer. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the work of the NAO and to explore opportunities to support ongoing strategic reforms within the NAO, aimed at strengthening its institutional capacity in delivering its mandate.
Ambassador Cromer expressed her delight for the visit underscoring the ancient history of the U.S Government’s support and collaboration with supreme audit institutions owing to the important role of SAIs in strengthening accountability and transparency in public resources administration.
