AG Ceesay led a team to the National Audit Office of Tanzania to learn about its public sector auditing experience and ICT infrastructure.
the team also had the opportunity to tour the ICT infrastructure of the office of the Auditor General of Zanzibar, to gain insights into the layout and functionality of its systems. This firsthand experience provided a deeper understanding of how these systems support the audit processes and ensure the integrity and security of data.
With the advancement of technology and the need for organizations, especially Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) to build their capacities to conduct IT audits as well as safeguard their ICT infrastructure and data, we hope to enhance our audit capabilities and contribute to more effective public financial management through the knowledge gained from this exchange program.
