The Gambia National Audit Office (NAO) hosted the 2022 AFROSAI-E Strategic Review and 18 Governing Board Meeting
From May 9 – 12, 2022, the 2022 strategic review and 18th Governing Board Meeting of the African Organisation of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E) was hosted by NAO in the Gambia at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre.
The meeting brought together more than 100 delegates from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) across Africa, including strategic development partners from across the globe to discuss thematic issues including the important roles of SAIs in promoting sound financial management, and how SAIs can remain resilient in their Independence as public audit institutions.
The event accorded Auditors General and their staff to network with colleagues as well as explore opportunities to enhance their work and impact.
